Ingredients

Black Chana Dressing

  • 80 gm Black Chana
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro leaves with stems
  • 10-12 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 6 gm low fat greek yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp Kala Namak
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt as taste

Mint Chutney

  • 1/3 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup Fresh cilantro leaves with stems
  • 1 small ginger chunk
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 tsp kala namak
  • 1/4 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 lemon's juice
  • Salt as taste
  • 1/4 cup water

Sandwich

  • 2 bread slices
  • 1/2 portion of black chana dressing
  • 4 tsp mint chutney
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 45 gm paneer
  • pinch of Chaat masala

Instructions

Black Chana Dressing

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender jar, boiled black chana, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, greek yogurt and the spices, lemon juice as well. Blend everything to make the dressing.

Mint Chutney

  • In a blender jar, add mint leaves, cilantro leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilli, spices, lemon juice and some water. Blend everything to make a vibrant green chutney.

Sandwich

  • Take two bread slices and toast them or grill them.
  • Take a slice of bread and apply mint chutney on it. Now, spread a layer of lettuce leaf and then the black chana dressing. There should be generous amount of the dressing.
  • Now, add sliced tomatoes, paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and sprinkle some chaat masala as well.
  • Apply mint chutney on other bread slice as well and make a sandwich. Cut into half and serve it.
